TSHEPI MABULANA BIDS YFM FAREWELL AFTER 7 YEARS

by

After 7 years of being at the leading youth radio station in South Africa, Radio Broadcaster and Philanthropist Tshepi Mabulana hangs her radio mic at YFM.

Having hosted various shows since joining the station in October 2013, co-hosting the 2 time radio award nominated show The Best Drive, the 29 year old presenter has made the decision to bid the station farewell. “This is rightly an end of an era for me. Having started at YFM in my early 20’s and leaving in my 30’s is truly a reflection of a beautiful journey”, says Tshepi. “Thank you to the YFM management for allowing me to be myself on that mic for many years, I will always be grateful for the opportunity that I was trusted with. My next journey awaits me and I’m very excited about my future in the radio space and pursuing other exciting ventures outside of radio.”

There is no doubt that Tshepi’s future looks bright, ending her journey with the station and having been part of a formidable youth drive time show in GP. The YFM team wish her nothing but affluence and growth – “Tshepi’s work ethic, charisma, passion and natural broadcast talent propelled her journey with YFM from Y Academy intern to Afternoon Drive co-host in just three years.

We will miss her energy and her ability to connect with anyone she comes into contact with. We wish her only the best in her new venture and trust she knows that her YFM family are routing for her, said YFM Managing Director, Haseena Cassim.

Tshepi’s farewell show will be on Wednesday, March 25th 2020. Visual of her farewell show will be out soon on Tshepi’s new YouTube channel launching on the 1st of April 2020.
