Jesse Clegg is back from his first North American tour and straight into his Cape Town shows starting on the 15 May 2014. This 32-date trek took him through most major cities in the U.S. and Canada where he performed  songs from his two albums When I Wake Up and Life On Mars, as well as the brand new single “Sinking”.

On his return to SA, he heads straight into Cape Town for the shows below:

After the widespread acclaim of his first album, Jesse’s music caught the attention of 3-time Grammy-winning Canadian producer David Bottrill (Muse, Tool, Placebo). Jesse subsequently moved to Toronto for 4 months to work with Bottrill who produced his 2nd album in its entirety. Another notable contributor was Grammy award-winning engineer Bob Ludwig who mastered the album in New York.

In 2013, Jesse was invited to play at several high profile showcase festivals in the US. These included the prestigious CMJ Music Marathon, New Music Seminar and the CBGB Festival. Over this period, he also began recording new material in studios in New York and Toronto.
