Call Santa on His Hotline
This year, kids can share their wish lists directly with Santa by calling him on his cell phone at Cavendish Square’s special phone booth! Mrs. Claus will ensure Santa has his pen and paper ready. Parents can complete an entry form at the booth, and one lucky child will win everything that is on their dream wish list! The festive phone booth will be located on the first floor near the food court from 16 to 24 December. Entry is free, and there are no age limits.
Live Performances and Festive Entertainment
From 16 to 24 December, Cavendish Square will come alive with local musicians and minstrels, spreading holiday cheer throughout the centre. Shoppers can enjoy live performances in Dreyer Street and around the iconic Centre Court Christmas Tree, singing along to classic and contemporary carols.
Capture the spirit of Christmas with Santa at Cavendish Square
Don’t miss the special opportunity to take photos with Santa Claus from 16 – 24 December, daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Snap a festive photo and take home a printed copy for just R50, with digital copies available upon request. The jolly booth where memories are waiting to be made will be located on the First Floor, near Sunglass Hut.
Extended Trading Hours for Holiday Shopping
Cavendish Square will offer extended hours, giving shoppers extra time to find the perfect gifts. The festive trading hours are as follows:
- Monday, 16 December: 9 AM – 7 PM
- 17 – 23 December: 9 AM – 8 PM
- Tuesday, 24 December: 9 AM – 7 PM
- Wednesday, 25 December: Optional Trading

In exchange for a donation to The Amy Foundation, the team will beautifully wrap your purchases, ensuring nobody gets a peak before the big day. The Amy Foundation, a non-profit organization, works to uplift vulnerable children through enrichment programs, empowering them to make positive life choices and become active contributors to their communities.
