NBCUniversal International Networks & Direct-To-Consumer today announced the highly anticipated South African premiere of Transplant season 4 on Universal TV.
The 10-episode, one-hour procedural will air Mondays at 20:00 SAST from Monday 22 January, exclusively on Universal TV (DStv 117) with episodes available on Universal+ immediately thereafter. Transplant is produced by Sphere Media in association with CTV and Universal International Studios, a division of Universal Studio Group.
Transplant, a gripping medical drama that has garnered a dedicated global fan base, follows the life and career of Bashir “Bash” Hamed, portrayed by Hamza Haq (My Salinger Year). Season 4 finds everyone at York Memorial encountering bold emotional medical cases while also facing personal upheaval and unexpected new beginnings, which sees the final chapter of Bash’s journey conclude. Now a Canadian citizen and months away from officially re-qualifying as a doctor, Bash is still trying, with everything he has, to build a new life for himself and his sister Amira, portrayed by Sirena Gulamgaus (Orphan Black), in their adopted country.
