Due to the national Covid-19 regulations as set out by the South African Government to allow for events to take place safely and current legislation that only allows for a total audience of 100 persons, SA producer Showtime Management and international partner Selladoor Worldwide are regretfully postponing the internationally acclaimed hit musical WE WILL ROCK YOU to 2022, pending future restrictions and legislation.

WE WILL ROCK YOU is now scheduled to open at Cape Town’s Artscape Theatre Centre on Saturday, 12 March for a limited season, ending on Sunday, 03 April 2022. Thereafter the show moves to Montecasino’s Teatro, Johannesburg from Saturday, 09 April until Sunday 01 May 2022. Tickets are on sale only at Computicket.

“The health and safety of our WE WILL ROCK YOU audiences, company members and everyone involved in the production is of great importance and concern and we thank patrons for their understanding in these difficult times,” says local producer, Hazel Feldman of Showtime Management who added, “We remain positive that the show will go on and look forward to rocking South Africa next year with this brand new production of WE WILL ROCK YOU.” Full casting to be announced in due course.
