Candi & Co, the sassy one stop beauty company specializing in ethnic hair care, hosted its 3rd annual Candi in the City pamper day. Here they presented a 2017 Hair Trends Report to Johannesburg’s most stylish movers and shakers in additional to a sun pamper session in a secret location.
The Candi in the City Hair Trends Report, guest edited by Boity Thulo, is a digital publication featuring the hottest in hair trends for 2017. It also features some of South Africa’s greatest influencers looking glam with the latest do’s: Lulama Wolf, ThiThi Ntetha, Leanne Dlamini, Zenande Mfenyana, DJ Olwee, Tumi Mohale, Lerato Sengadi and Iman Mkwanazi.
One of the highlights of the report featured a shoot with model Iman Mk sporting a R30 000 custom weave, which can be viewed at www.candiandco.co.za.
“This Trend Report was put together by a respected, researched and talented team of people from the hair and beauty industry and is a brilliant way for our customers to enjoy the hottest 2017 trends locally, and internationally. It really compliments the Candi-in-the-City event,” says Candice Thurston, Managing Director of Candi & Co.
“As usual, we were hugely oversubscribed. We’ve had such amazing feedback that we’re already planning next year’s event.” Says Thurston.
Held at the exclusive Yadah Castle in Pretoria, the Abu Dabhi themed event attracted just over one hundred guests who were treated to exotic food, pamper massages, mani’s and pedis, henna tattoo designs and make-overs set in a picturesque real-life castle. #CandiInTheCity is inspired by the Sex in the City movie franchise and aims to celebrate women and provide them with an opportunity to be spoiled in a relaxed and fun-filled
