5FM is all about giving back and this Youth Day the powerhouse is taking over Zone 10 at Sedibeng Soweto. We are encouraging volunteers to participate in the “battle of the DJ” Sayiwasha Car and Bike Wash.
Five teams of 10 volunteers along with a 5FM DJ will square off to ensure their team raises the most amount of money for education with Youngblood 5. Whether you would like to be a part of the 50 volunteers washing cars with our 5FM DJs or just there for this exclusive party, 5FM wants you to be part of the action and support this cause.
The five team leaders will be 5FM DJ’s; Hip Hop queen, Ms Cosmo and late night music junkie Stephanie B in one team, Top’s 40 Sureshnie Rider, the vivacious Fix and new kid on the block Justin Toerien. Your host for the day will be Rob Forbes.
Kicking off the celebration will be a variety of 5FM hotspots, these include the five Sayiwasha car and bike wash lanes, a customary ChisaNyama, for the thirsty – a variety of themed watering holes commonly known as bars and an “oh ya Jaiva” zone.
There is no party like a 5FM party and we bring the finest in entertainment to you. Catch live broadcasts of Krazyboy Weekends with KB and Euphonik’s My House. DJ’s spinning the decks will be a guest appearance by ClassyMenace, Hip Hop royalty Ms Cosmo, DJ Milkshake, the good Doctor; Roger Goode and the Big Dawg himself DJ Fresh.
